INVITATION TO CES23

The 16th ASOCSA Built Environment Conference held in Lanseria last year again highlighted the need post-CES21 to continue taking forward the conversation about construction education as it is currently offered within our institutions to critically examine the relevance and currency of our programs in the face of a rapidly changing and developing world with evolving demands on the graduates we produce. The findings of the survey that the task team conducted after CES21 provide partial baseline data about potential areas that could be debated and improved as part of our continuous improvement endeavours.

All important stakeholder in the built environment education and industry sectors will be invited on behalf of the second Construction Education Summit (CES23) organizers to participate together with other Heads of Department and Heads of School in the event in person at Accolades Boutique Venue, Midrand from Thursday, March 30 to Friday, March 31, 2023 both dates inclusive, 08h00-17h30. It is anticipated that this engagement will allow for active and enthusiastic debate by all relevant stakeholders about sustainable built environment education for the future in South Africa.
